Winter 25 - AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED Training

Brigantine Fire Department is offering a American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED Training and Certification course in partnership with the Brigantine CER. This class is ideal for community members who have limited to no medical training.

The Heartsaver CPR AED course trains participants to give CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Participants in this class will:
- Be trained in CPR for Adult, Child, and Infant
- Be trained in AED for Adult, Child, and Infant
- Receive a 2-year certification
- Receive a reusable CPR pocket mask

This course is on Tuesday, February 25th from 4pm-8pm at the Brigantine Community Center (2nd floor). Registration must occur online and be completed by Tuesday, February 18th. The fee is $40 per person to cover the cost of course materials and certification.

There is no age minimum for this class, however all participants must be capable of understanding cardiac arrest and be physically able to perform the skills of CPR.
